Complete Sacred Spiral Deep Meditation Method

Step 1.
To experience a successful Meditation session we need to have a certain measure of relaxation and a degree of 'being centered' within ourselves.
If you are in a state of high anxiety and stress, feel very scattered, perhaps ill and so on it will be very difficult when you are just starting out. This is where the true value of the supporting practices come in. A regular exercise program, a basic level of healthy eating and a basic level of caring relationships - especially with ourselves, goes a long way to helping us come into a more conducive state of being and mind to begin meditation. Further, regular relaxation, stretching and breathing practice gains us good familiarity with the principles we need for our meditation anyway.

Step 2.
Practice daily. We need to aim for 20 - 40 minute sessions preferably twice a day. The very best time is between 3 and 5 AM. The late evening can work although most folk are quite tired after a full days work. It is my belief that the time from around 9 PM until 2 - 3 AM is the best time for the body to sleep, rest and rejuvenate. Melatonin, the hormone manufactured in our Pineal gland and responsible for regulating sleep cycles, is produced during the dark hours. This is useful for deep meditation practice since it promotes access to alpha and eventually gamma brain wave states. The ideal situation we are aiming for is really 'body asleep, mind awake and alert'. This takes considerable practice since most of us are conditioned to 'fall' asleep - lose our conscious awareness.

Step 3.
Set up. Best is a really comfortable recliner chair or sofa. A bed can work as long as you don't adopt your usual 'going to sleep' posture as this will give the signal reflex from our sub conscious minds to rapidly enter into a sleep state. Make sure you are warm enough. I use a blanket unless the weather is very hot. Just the psychological effect of containment and protection is valuable. Use some kind of cover over the eyes. I use a soft scarf since it is very comfortable and can wrap around my eyes and over the ears. Clothing to be loose and very comfortable. No disturbances. All devices like cell phones, radios etc need to be switched off. Indeed switch off all lights and electronic devices especially wi fi. The radio signals interfere with the subtle frequencies of awareness. Practice more or less at the same time every day. A glass of water or mild herbal tea like Chamomile before your session can be useful but is not essential.

Step 4.
The actual session after you are settled and comfortable. Depending on how centered or scattered you feel mentally and emotionally, you will likely need to do a short time of deliberate calming practice. Easy, gentle, rhythmic breath observation is useful. Mantra, spoken or hummed aloud or silently to yourself, is another way. Personally i like to settle, breathe a few cycles, relax and then get my attention away from my body and situation as quickly as possible. Remember where we place our attention, energy flows there, so if you are stressed and you 'try' to calm down with a technique because you are in something of a state, likely it will become worse. I choose an activity i really enjoy, such as walking on a sunny beach in a pristine, wild place. I see the sky and ocean with colour, i hear the crashing waves and seagulls, i feel the hot sun on my skin, the hot sand under my feet, think how nice it will be to swim in a little while and so on. Now the thing to do whether you are observing the flow of breath, chanting a mantra or visualizing a lovely scene, is not to carry on for too long. We know we have done enough once we realize we are feeling calmer, more centered, more relaxed and ready for the next step.
The following Deep Meditation Induction Method is available as a separate pdf download.

Deep Meditation Induction Protocol

- Establish before-hand a target or purpose for your deep meditation.  Know prior to the session what your object is and what your intention is. Are you seeking self-realization? Do you need to heal yourself or someone else? Do you need guidance? Do you seek knowledge and information? Are you seeking manifestation of some kind or possibly simply practicing to hone your skills? . . . and many more.
It is a good idea to affirm to yourself that only positive energy and beings will present themselves into your experience and that you are fully protected in all possible ways by the energy structures and beings of your own self. See yourself for a few moments enshrouded by a force of powerful and pure light. (light is an interchangeable term for awareness) Know that this is the true reality at all times. Should any apparently dark or negative experiences appear, know that these are manifestations of how you yourself are molding perception and understanding and that they are thought forms rising from deep within your own subconscious layers of mind. They have presented themselves to you in order to be transformed into a higher reality of mind.

* - Relax, spend some time taking deep in and out breaths, at least 10 - 20 cycles. Breathe mindfully, not forced but also not too passive or weak as this will not have much effect. Relax your face and then rest completely for a few moments.
You are basically now ready to begin. We should give ourselves plenty of time - avoid being governed or restricted by the clock. Usually 20 - 40 minutes is enough, however longer can be productive. Notice when you have just shifted over into a kind of lethargic state. This is okay for resting but may turn into indulgence if left which won't help much or becomes simply wasting time. Don't spend too much time on each step, if you feel yourself becoming deeply involved in any one, cut it short and move on. The trick is to just spend enough time in order to change our state of awareness  a few notches. With practice one gets used to this and we know instinctively when to go down to the next layer.
It is useful to keep a very elementary form of self-language. This is something in the nature of one word directional signposts. An example would be 'Huge' or 'Tilting Left' or 'Flying' or 'Orange' or 'Healed' or 'I AM THIS'  and so on. Don't use too often. The rational/logical aspect of our minds is not invited at all, so this is dormant. later after the meditation you can think over. Generally logic and reason is more or less only useful for working out details, never 'understanding' anything. We gain insight and understanding by direct sense or feeling perception. This is not an emotional form of knowing - emotions give huge energy and are mostly exactly that - emotional decisions. When we cool down we often realize how silly we were being.
Induction Protocol - as you move through the process, say to yourself each number as a way of marking. Make sure you are familiar before-hand with the content of each number. At each progressive number we drop down a step, 9 being the last and final one. You can imagine you are descending a set of actual steps. Use imagination as much as you wish. Remember the more 'real' you can 'conjure' your vision the more likely hood it will to be effective. Add in Scent, Texture, Colour, Movement, Image, Sound, emotion and more.

1 - The room or place you are in now. The current circumstances and conditions. Who we think we are right now - our gender, age, life situation, personal history and so on.

2 - Expand. We deliberately image in our feelings a sense of being much larger in all directions. Feel yourself huge. Spend a few moments really focusing on this, feeling and seeing yourself this way.

3 - Tilt. Feel yourself as this huge energy configuration. Now tilt over onto your right side. Feel how this feels for a few moments. Now tilt onto your left side. Now onto your back and finally onto your stomach.
---
4 - Fly. Stomach down seems to work best but feel free. Imagine you are something like a huge eagle flying very high up. Seeing the small fluffy clouds around you and seeing all the content of the earth far below. You can imagine drifting and circling, seeing the cities or mountains or oceans or whatever very small with the sense of vast distance.

5 - Orange Jelly wobble. Imagine everything - your body, the clouds, the sky, the earth, anything and everything turning into a jelly like substance and wobbling a little or shimmering. You can assign a colour to everything within your field of perception. Orange, blue, yellow or green is good. Avoid stimulating colors like red or purple. Now everything simply dissolves its recognizable form, becomes a vibration of pure colour energy.

6 - Increase your speed faster the the speed of light. Imagine yourself as pure awareness, 'sitting' on a very powerful spotlight, capable of reaching up above the cloud level and atmosphere. Switch on the spotlight. You are 'catapulted' on the leading edge of the light beam out into space. You carry on long after the spotlight beam has faded. In fact, you now 'accelerate'. You are travelling or rather, 'vibrating' even faster than the speed of light. Feel this feeling. You remain in this vibratory state. Ourselves as pure awareness is now in a condition of 'No Time', 'No Place', 'No Body', 'No Name' and 'No personal history', Feel that your awareness is the same awareness that pervades the entire universe. Our spirit is the same spirit that pervades the entire cosmos. Indeed our personal awareness and spirit has merged and become united with the universal field of awareness and spirit existing everywhere, in all time, outside of time and space and within all individuated energetic beings and thought forms.
---
7 - Call to mind your object. You will see the energetic essence of this object even if it is some type of thought form like 'guidance'. If it is healing you seek, choose to see the healed and whole energy not the damaged form. Focus steadily on this energy field.

8 - Allow your new-found 'super consciousness', to move towards your object. Move into that energy and become that energy. Feel the new feelings and listen for the shadows of inherent and emerging insight and knowledge.

9 - You have now completed the transition into the 'other'. From your usual conditioned perception of reality to the energetic framework of whatever you have chosen. You can now choose to go deeper by simply saying 'deeper' and having that gentle but firm intention. Alternatively you can 'anchor' your chosen reality - the object you are visioning and merging with - healing, manifestation, knowledge etc. by affirming 'I AM THIS' and then gently returning to the '1' state. Avoid taking this step too quickly. Rather move slowly, almost reversing all the levels we took to get here - a full in-depth focus on each step is not necessary. All the time keeping the awareness of your new I AM THIS.

It could be useful to reiterate at this stage that the energetic structure of our pre chosen object is what we ourselves will 'conjure' up into our image once our awareness has reached a 'deep meditative' or Samhadi condition. Samhadi is properly the state reached once we have fully 'merged' our awareness with our object
When you e-merge, (withdraw or 'reverse merge') give yourself time to gradually and comfortably return. Allow the awareness to settle, be in the space and take the time to observe the subtly new frame of mind. All our old states and frames of mind will naturally want to loom up and dominate our routine day as they always have done. Know that these are old conditioned patterns that assert themselves even long after they cease to serve us, in order to 'create our reality'
Do not bother too much to try and change outer circumstances and conditions. One cannot do this really. We can change our behavior, make new decisions, form or remove various habits - however all these, although well and good are a case of 'matter trying to change matter' so change or manifestation is not originating in spirit or the quantum field. Through the meditation protocols, we can exert influence directly from the spirit or quantum level and so change our inner frameworks and order of perception and understanding and bring various manifestations, healing and knowledge.
Watching our habitual inner dialogue is very informative. This inner dialogue arises directly from the underlying beliefs which then drive our attitudes. Feelings and emotions are automatically in the mix and then of course the physical actions we habitually take.
The protocol has to be practiced regularly, preferably every day. Practice the same way and with the same steps. This is a positive use of habit and routine turned to our advantage. With enough familiarity, induction becomes much easier and faster.
All said and done it will be of much benefit to become thoroughly familiar with all the elements laid out in our 'Spiritual Structures' and information on our rightful place in the Cosmos.
If you would like more support with the whole meditation process i have created the Induction as a guided audio with soothing background sounds of nature. Further Subliminal MP3's are also available to assist with with various facets of self growth and personal spiritual knowledge.
